Founded in 1909, VSCPA membership consists of more than 8,300 individual CPAs who actively work in public accounting, business and industry, government agencies or in educational institutions. The VSCPA headquarters, called the Richmond CPA Center, is located in the Innsbrook Corporate Center in the West End of Richmond, Va. The VSCPA serves as a central source of information for its members, offering education programs and representing the interests of CPAs before state and federal agencies and legislators. The VSCPA also works to enhance and promote the image of the CPA with the general public, media, legislators, educators and students.
