ENERGY STAR for Small Business

You may already be familiar with the Energy Star label on efficient appliances, a program by the federal government (EPA–Environmental Protection Agency, and DOE–Department of Energy). Energy Star labeled computers, washing machines, and refrigerators are sold in stores and offer all the performance with lower energy maintenance costs.

But did you know about the Energy Star Small Business programs? You can find advice about proven energy management strategies and more at EPA’s Energy Star for Small Business website. Highlights include links to financial resources in your state, a How-To guidebook, strategies for reducing environmental impacts of paper use, and a New Building Design resource center.
