Proud to Be Certified

DCVB is proud to be the first community marketing organization Green Plus Certified.  There are more than 1100 destination marketing organizations, as we’re called, in North America.  Similar to DCVB which has more than 3,000 visitor related businesses and organizations as stakeholders, they are each in a position to further Green Plus.  Only 3% or so are affiliated with chambers beyond being members.  The majority are independent.  We intend to seriously promote Green Plus participation.
