Green Plus has gone through a lot of changes lately, from a completely revamped website to a brand new diagnostic survey, and more is still to come. The latest effort to be introduced is a new weekly podcast series, titled Are You There Yet?. The podcasts will offer tips on an aspect of greening your business (for example, waste reduction or energy efficiency measures) and feature a participating Green Plus business that excels in that particular area. The first Green Plus series include five podcasts produced in partnership with East Carolina University’s Center for Sustainable Tourism.
The purpose of the podcasts is two-fold
- To share new sustainability education tips for smaller enterprises
- And to provide information about the specific businesses with which we work to other Green Plus businesses in our network and beyond.
The podcasts are hosted by Community Coordinator Amanda Komar, who shares the microphone with Green Plus staff members or with a representative of the featured business.
