Green Plus Launches Upgraded Business Profiles!

LinkedInPinterestEmailShare/Bookmark

At Green Plus, our focus is promoting sustainable business practices by providing our members with training, recognition, and networking opportunities. Today, we’re excited to introduce upgraded profiles in our Green Business Directory to better share our members’ best practices with you, and to help them tell their sustainability stories.

You can access the directory through this link.

Over the past several years, hundreds of businesses committed to the triple-bottom line have populated our Green Business Directory. In the past, companies have been able to gain exposure by posting their history, their products, and contact information on individualized profile pages.

Now, in addition to providing this vital background information to potential customers, business profile pages highlight all the great things that our members have been working on to gain certification. Each profile now includes:

  •  A statement from Green Plus that confirms each business’s commitment to sustainability.
  • A clear distinction of the business’s status with Green Plus (Mover, Certified, etc..), and a definition of what that distinction means.
  • A “Best Practices” section that highlights all of the things businesses do well, as indicated on their Green Plus Diagnostic.
  • Call out boxes explaining what each “Best Practice” means.

Here’s an example of what a new and improved profile looks like….

We’re excited about these upgrades and hope you will be, too. Check it out at the link above and let us know what you think!!
