Congratulations to the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association on its recent Certification with Green Plus! NCSEA now joins 83 other businesses and organizations around the country to earn Green Plus Certification.
NCSEA joined Green Plus as part of a scholarship opportunity offered by the Z. Smith Reynolds foundation. Ten organizations across North Carolina were offered these scholarships, and with NCSEA, four of those organizations (MDC Inc., NC Coastal Federation, and NC Center for Nonprofits) have now earned full Green Plus Certification.
“[NCSEA strives] to live the same principles on behalf of which we advocate. For us that means running our organization in a manner that reflects respect for our people, consideration for our planet, and care in the manner in which we drive and measure our performance,” says Edith Urban, office manager for NCSEA and one of the driving forces behind its Green Plus Certification. “Finding ways to be sustainable in our daily activities takes thought and effort, but it is an effort that we are pleased to take on because the fruits of that labor help to enrich us all.”
Congratulations to NCSEA! We’re happy to have you join the Green Plus Certified ranks!
